The Feast of St. Michael Archangel, celebrated on September 29th every year, is an important day in Sant’Angelo.
The Patron Saint of Sant’Angelo is celebrated with an emotional and ancient ceremony. The country is preparing for the feast with liturgical chants, folk music and floral designs.
In an atmosphere of popular enthusiasm, the ceremony is characterized by the celebration of the Holy Mass and by two processions religious: the one by land that passes through the city streets and the other one by sea with boarding in the little harbor of the country, accompanied by spectacular firework show that will leave you breathless.
